Senior Receptionist

We currently have a vacancy  for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Senior Receptionist. For this role you will be responsible for managing a team of 6+ team members to offer excellent customer service to all patients as well as efficient administrative support to the clinical team. This role reports directly to the Practice Manager, and will be responsible for supporting the Practice Manager in the smooth running of the Practices' Reception. The successful applicant will have a good standard of education, excellent communication and keyboard skills, knowledge of medical terminology, workflow optimisation and signposting, a pleasant and friendly manner, and the ability to supervise and work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative. They must have the ability to communicate with patients and colleagues in a confident, caring and empathetic manner both over the phone and in person.

We are a busy GP Practice, with a list size of approximately 8,000 patients. Our clinical systems are EMIS and Docman. We offer a competitive salary and a supportive and progressive work environment.
